“Five Short Stories: Journey of a Hero, True Love, Impossible Love, A Woman at War & Peace” by Thomas Jerome Baker is another magical piece of work. It is not only a selection of 5 stories but a tribute to the genre.
Featuring love stories, dog heroes, fairy tale creatures, historic, biblical and contemporary themes, the book combines the real with the magical, providing marvellous entertainment. My favourite story has to be the first one which is told in a dialogue between the story teller and the little one, and as a dog owner, Snoopy was my favourite hero in the book.
Baker has put together a great collection of stories, all different and lovable.
